About MEW RUG
MEW was born by the unexpected collabo. ration of Mora Wang Papier, design director of Australian carpet brand TRE (The Rug Est) and Qian Jing, graphic designer in Shanghai. MEW’s original intention was to create a new, playful and surprising design that would preserve and extend the handmade rugs and be accepted and loved by a new generation of carpet consumers. MEW offer different design to architects and interior designers as well as custom designs for different commercial public spaces and private houses.

She has also taught in the Fine Art School for many years. Focusing on high-level custom handmade carpet design and the developement of contemporary, original carpet design, she uses her personal design concept to create and bring new experience of lifestyle.

Bachelor China Academy of Art in Hangzhou. Master in College of Fine Arts of Toulouse, France, major Visual Communication Design.
